We’re passionate about the importance, and joy, of slow fashion. The process of creating a pair of BBs is filled with a whole lot of love, and patience! From first sketch to final polish, the journey can take up to a year.
B_Boheme shoes are designed in our London studio and are inspired by our British roots. They are then handmade in ethical shoe factories in Portugal. Alicia Lai handpicked these factories for their ability to meet her exacting ethical standards. We work closely with the brilliant teams of craftsmen and women who are responsible for making each pair of BBs.
100% vegan
All our shoes are made from 100% vegan, sustainable materials. From water-based and animal free glue, to recycled PET sequins, plant-based ultra-suede and biodegradable glitter, we make it our mission to work with the best materials, and we’re always looking for ways to improve.
It’s not just the shoe materials that are eco-conscious; you’ll receive your BBs wrapped in 100% recycled tissue paper, nestled in a certified organic cotton dust bag and recycled cardboard box. And our pre-order model ensures that there is far less waste.
